The Millie Scott Award is given in honour of a woman who introduced the Calgary 5 Pin Bowlers’ Association to fundraising through bingos in 1989. A board member from 1989 to 1991, Millie was not a bowler, but her personable nature, determination and leadership made a lasting impact on the organization. The Millie Scott Award recognizes volunteers in the Calgary Zone who exemplify Millie’s characteristics and provide visible benefits to the sport.
