Congratulations to Maria Wood on her lifetime membership to the Alberta 5 Pin Bowlers’ Association. The award was presented to Maria at the Autumn Open (Paradise Lanes) Thanksgiving weekend 2024.
Maria has put in considerable blood, sweat and tears in shaping and leading our sport in Calgary for over 30 years. She served as Calgary 5 President over 2 different terms (longer than anyone) and coordinating countless casinos to fund our events.
For about 20 years, she has been extremely dedicated as program director of the Paradise Lanes YBC. She has coached numerous youth and adult teams to a Provincial and National level.
