New in 2024, Calgary 5 Pin Bowlers’ Association created the Youth Pro Invitational Tournament to enhance and progress Youth Bowler’s competitiveness by placing them in this elevated team event.
Two youth bowlers are teamed with a Pro Bowler for a Pins Over Average event. Youth bowlers from the Calgary Zone qualify for this event based on Aggregate Standings in the Youth Bowling Series. Calgary Zone Pro Bowlers are invited based on Open Zone qualifying results as well as their demonstrated sportsmanship and commitment to fostering the growth of our Youth Bowlers.
This inaugural event was held at Toppler Bowl April 29 2024.
Ryan Eisenbart, Rich Weber and Lucas Franche won the 5 game POA event with a total pinfall of 3214 (+229), just 11 pins ahead of second place. Results are in the tournaments section (Youth Pro Invitational).
