Thank you to H.J’s Family Bowling Centre and all the volunteers, bowlers, coaches and spectators at the Open Provincials held in Grande Prairie March 27-30, 2024.
Calgary Zone was well represented at the Provincials. Damara Halvorson, from the Calgary Zone, won ‘Gold’ in the Ladies Singles and will be moving on to the Nationals in Ottawa the end of May.
Jennifer Ladan (avg 240.63) was named to the Ladies All Star Team. Eric Christensen (avg 269.03) was named to the Mens All Star Team.
In team competition, the Calgary Ladies and Mixed Teams finished 2nd while the Calgary Mens team finished 3rd.
Annette Bruneau was also named a Lifetime Member for the Alberta 5 Pin Bowlers’ Association for her years of contribution and dedication to the sport of 5 Pin Bowling at a Local, Provincial and National Level.
